How will Social Distancing work inside the restaurant?
We are using guidance from local and federal government agencies to ensure our guests and team members exhibit safe, responsible behavior in our restaurants. We will stagger seating and reduce our dining room seating capacities per local ordinances, as well as enforce strict social distancing in the Fresh Market Bar line.
I’d like gloves when I go through the Fresh Market Bar – is that possible?
Yes, we supply disposable gloves and respectfully request all of our guests use them when loading up their bowls.
Is hand sanitizer available in your restaurant?
Of course. We will have hand sanitizer, antibacterial hand soap and sanitizer wipes available for all guests.
What about the raw food? Is it safe from the virus?
As always, we adhere to the strictest food-safety guidelines from the prep table to your table. All of our fresh ingredients are held cold until it hits our grill. All food is grilled at 400 degrees or higher and all food served at a safe temperature – eliminating the possibility for any foodborne or other virus exposure.
How often do you sanitize tables and chairs?
We will sanitize every table before and after each guest dines with us, using industry-grade sanitizing solution. We mark all tables that have been properly sanitized with a green disc- to ensure no table is left behind.
Do I have to wear a mask when I enter the restaurant?
Every local ordinance is different by county – so we will enforce the local guidelines at our locations. All of our staff members will be wearing cloth masks during every shift.
What if I have a fever or are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19? Can I come in?
Unfortunately, we will not allow any one exhibiting symptoms or running a fever in our dining room area or around other guests, to ensure the safety of our team members and our guests. We will, however, bring a takeout order directly to your car to limit any interaction. Please either order online or call-ahead, and let us know when you arrive.
Will you be taking temperatures of your staff members on every shift?
Yes! We will be taking the temperatures and logging on every shift, at every location, to ensure no one is working with a potential fever.
Why are your chefs building the bowl for me?
We are working hard to follow all local restrictions and guidelines in order to protect the health and safety of our fans and team members. To keep you safe, our staff is required to build every bowl at the Fresh Market Bar. But you tell us what and how much, and your wish is our command! We’ll return to normal service as soon as local restrictions are lifted.
Why can’t I refill my own beverage where available?
In accordance with state and local government and CDC guidelines, we are temporarily not allowing our guests to self-serve at the beverage station. This is in an effort to reduce guest interaction with items that multiple guests might touch.
Can I have a disposable menu?
In areas where required by local and state governments, we are offering disposable menus rather than our normal dine-in menus, temporarily.
